Mold SetterThe Mold Setter is responsible for safely installing, removing, adjusting, and maintaining molds and tooling on Injection Molding machines. This role ensures accurate setup, efficient changeovers, and proper machine operation to support quality, safety, and production goals.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, remove, and secure molds, dies, and tooling according to production schedulesVerify mold alignment, clamping, and functionality before releasing equipment to productionTroubleshoot basic mold, tooling, and machine issues and escalate when neededWork closely with Process Engineers, Maintenance, and Production SupervisorsComplete required documentation for setups, inspections, and changeoversFollow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirementsMaintain cleanliness and organization of mold storage and setup areasAssist with preventive maintenance activities related to molds and toolingSupport continuous improvement activities to reduce downtime and improve qualityQualificationsPrior experience in mold setting, machine setup, or mechanical/industrial operations preferredAbility to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and tooling specificationsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift, move, and position molds and tooling safelyAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWillingness to work overtime or different shifts as neededRequirementsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbsAbility to work in hot or cold manufacturing environmentsAbility to operate hoists, cranes, and mechanical lifting devicesSchedule:Schedule would be same as IM Day shift: 7:00am – 7:30pm Mon – Thursday and OT as needed (Potentially Mandatory)Starting wage: Entry rate begins at $18/hrPosting range: $18–$26/hr depending on experienceCVG IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERCommercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) is an equal employment opportunity employer such that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.Visa SponsorshipAt this time, we are not providing sponsorship for this role.
